I am the co-founder of Amplify Writing, a project that seeks to support the career development of writers with lived experiences, identities, and backgrounds that are underrepresented in the publishing ecosystem. Through Amplify, I received grant funding to develop and conduct a community needs assessment exploring writers' access to resources that support their career development. Currently, I am working with middle school creative writing students to plan and execute a public panel discussion focused on career pathways for students interested in creative writing.
